Content Management
Your business isn’t static – don’t let your web site be static, either.
A Content Management System (CMS) lets you organize pages, publish on a schedule, enable login-only content, and much more. You can even host a blog from your web site. And best of all, a modern open-source CMS doesn’t have to look like a blog.
Can you help with social media?
Social media is about interactivity. Technology can help with this, but it’s only part of the picture. When you’re ready to engage with your customers in a new way, I can help you harness the latest technologies to reach them.
Modern CMS’s are easy to install and easy to use, and most can be customized to meet your specific needs. When considering a platform, here are some things to evaluate:
- Community size. You want to know that the platform you adopt will continue to thrive in the future.
- Support for search engine optimization (SEO) tools. Good SEO starts with the platform!
- Multiple author support. If you’re building a community site, consider how you’d like multiple authors to be supported. Some platforms are more flexible than others in this area.
- Tool support. Good platforms will have support for third-party tools. Popular platforms will have support for the next great tool that comes along.
- Easy SM integration (“share this” / “tweet this”). Like tool support, you really want to consider how easy it will be to add support for the next big thing, whenever that comes along.
